    With 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties (UCPLA) is the largest nonprofit provider of direct care services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Southern California.


    UCPLA is hiring a Program Support Assistant responsible for maintaining confidentiality in the handling of client records and files; creating new hire packets; monitoring and maintaining department document supplies; processing household shift duty forms; performing general and specific support functions; assisting area personnel; and providing clerical support to the Community Living Services (CLS) management team and department staff.   


    • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of client records
    • Coordinates with related departments and assists with questions and problems courteously and provides assistance promptly
    • Processes completed logs and Household Shift Duty Forms for all regions
    • Conducts monthly client record audits, summarizes findings, and submits reports to Program Support Specialist
    • Maintains supplies of forms specific to the CLS department
    • Supports department personnel on various projects
    • Attends and participates in meetings
    • Remains well informed regarding company policy/procedure changes
    • Files department documents


    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of two years of related work experience
    • Ability to develop and maintain clear, effective, and timely verbal and written communication with participants, coworkers, supervisors, and other professionals
    • Ability to be a team member and work cooperatively with others
